Triple F Unlimited was brought to life in 1993 by Jamel “Etcetera” Carter. Etcetera's vision was to help change his community by offering alternatives to the street. Etcetera and a group of friends began to perform and host dance competitions with various types of prizes to bring young teens to a forum where they would be rewarded for creativity. As Harlem began to embrace these competitions Etcetera began to sort ways to expand. Still a very young entrepreneur Etcetera began to hold dance classes; by the winter of 1995 he had begun to have a very strong following and needed more choreographers. The demand for these Hip-Hop, Jazz and modern dance classes reached a high in the summer of 1996, when Triple F Unlimited and its team of choreographers were asked collaborate with the choreographers for artists such as Buster Rhymes, Mariah Carey and Sean ‘Puffy' Combs. It was at this time, Etcetera realizing to grow more a successful business he had to market better.

Triple F Unlimited experienced that there is no ceiling for creativity in the dance world. The same is true for Business Development and Marketing. Triple F Unlimited began to search for new arenas to market during 1997. It was during this time that the company began to expand even further. By spring of 1997, Triple F Unlimited had linked itself with several of the nightclubs and party promoters in New York City. Since this was not a business Triple F Unlimited was familiar with it used a strong team of researchers to gather the information necessary to make the venture successful. The team of researchers found that to maximize Triple F Unlimited's growth the company would have to become more of a consultant then a silent partner to these Independent party promoters and the nightclubs. Triple F Unlimited found that by researching ways to develop other businesses they had begun to mass develop their own. By year-end 1997, Triple F Unlimited had helped to establish several party promoters, hair salons, variety stores, restaurants and nightclubs to be one of the best in each of their respective fields or areas.

The work in the consultant and business development areas proved to be very useful as Etcetera began to work with several of the artists he had built a rapport with in his early years in the entertainment industry. Triple F Unlimited worked hard to keep its clients information and business confidential while dealing with decisions about the career choices, management and business choices. This almost instantaneously made Triple F Unlimited the honest and confidential choice of celebrities looking for success, relief and comfort in an entertainment company.

By the middle of 2002, Etcetera again turned to the streets to find some of the greatest unsigned acts the country could provide. Still an unknown compared to many of the bigger entertainment companies and management teams, Triple F Unlimited made its mark by quickly establishing its unsigned acts as global favorites, concentrating on gaining local and global recognition for their unsigned artists through avenues often over looked by the bigger companies. Triple F Unlimited's hands on approach also help to show the public, artists and A&Rs, alike that Triple F Unlimited would only showcase and feature the most talented and industry ready music and products.
